How to Search Public Criminal Records

As we as a country meet more and more people on the Internet we have more and more cause to ask if these people are people we can really trust. Just because someone looks respectable does not mean they don’t have a past that they are trying to keep from being publicly known. While it is important to respect others’ privacy when it comes time to trust a new person with something very important like finances or family its always in your best interests to have as much knowledge available.

If you are about to trust a new person in your life with your finances knowing if they have a history of robbery or embezzlement is an invaluable asset. There can be some records that may not cause any alarm such as minor traffic incidents or parking tickets especially if these happened many years ago. The detailed information about a person will be given in the public records. The legal cases against a person like the offenses, crimes, allegations, etc can be tracked from public arrest records.

If an arrest does not end up with incarcerations or imprisonments, it will be shown in the public arrest records. They different types of cases included in the public arrest records can be small offenses like over speed driving, driving while intoxication, harassment, etc. The felonies include burglary, sexual assaults, murder etc. Anything, which violates the human rights, can be considered as a crime, before the law. Public arrest records will also provide the private information like date of birth, addresses, phone numbers, tax records, health care details, contractor license, drivers license, property records etc. The juveniles are usually not subjected through the public arrest records.

It is always better to make sure that nothing is wrong with a person, before going to deal with him. For the public, it is very easy to get the detailed arrest records from several criminal records search sites. All this online information can be used to get an idea about a particular person. It will help us to ensure the safety and security of the public. However, we should also be aware of the fact that these sites may contain some false information, too.

How to Find Court Records For Criminal Background Checks

I recently found a good place online to find a ton of information about people online by searching through public court records. It was almost scary the amount of information I found on my neighbors, I even got to see what kind of information is available about me online.

With just a name I found that my neighbor was having really bad money problems, so when he came over asking to borrow $100 I had the insight to say I couldn’t do it. The recession isn’t any time to give away money. And sure enough, a few weeks later he told me about the money problems and confessed that he would have to return to his parents house. I was quite glad I kept the $100, and very glad that I had such a powerful tool with which to search court records.

The great thing is, I can use it to search any public records at all. And there are a million reasons to search court and public records.

I use the court records finder to:

 • Stop bothersome telemarketers

 • Stop prank callers
 • Check up on babysitters
 • Research those unknown numbers on your phone bill
 • Check up on business contacts
 • Find a person’s address with their phone number or name
 • Research those missed calls on my caller ID
 • Use phone numbers to find new information about old friends

I’m sure there are even more uses for such a powerful tool that I have yet to think of!

It’s not often that one of these Internet tools comes along that I actually like to use, most are so complicated that I may as well just save my time and read a book. But this court record finder really made things easy and straight forward. It’s one of the few things I keep bookmarked all the time.

So, if you’re like me and want to find out information about people using public records, the site I recommend it the court records finder at http://www.courtrecordsfinder.com

Who is Driving Your Children to School?

The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, all through the town. But who is putting their foot on the pedal to propel the bus through the town? Teachers are the ones who mold children’s minds, educating them and giving them the principals and skills to make it in the world. Teachers should be praised and commended for this but one person who flies under the radar is the bus driver. They drive your children to and from school. They are responsible for the well being and safety of your child once they set foot on that bus. There are plenty of good bus drivers out there but what about the bad ones?

Steve, a bus driver from northern Iowa had an addiction to pain killers and was in and out of rehab numerous times. He even did months of jail time because he was caught stealing in order to get money to pay for his next fix. This was all found out after he drove a bus full of kids into a ditch. He was fired the next day. John, a bus driver in Montana was a convicted sex offender. His records showed he was on the sex offenders list but this was only found out after complaints from certain children who rode his bus. He was fired the next day.

Then there was Patty from New York. She was an alcoholic with a D.U.I on her record. She came to work with booze on her breath, ran a red light, and caused a wreck involving two other cars. She was fired the next day. No children in any of these cases were seriously hurt but they all have the same thing in common. It wasn’t until the driver messed up that a background check was done. It wasn’t until that person’s personal problems put the children in danger that a check seemed necessary. What is the best way to put an end to these types of stories? Stop it before it starts. By doing a simple background check on a possible driver before they are even hired, these kinds of things can be stopped. Click here to do a background check and make sure the wheels on the bus are safe for our children.

Watch Out For Adoption Scams

Ready to Adopt? Thinking about adoption? That is great! But have you checked out the people you are about to do business with? A recent Montel Williams show focused on the adoption scams happening in our country.

After hearing about adoption scam contracts, he was quoted as saying: “You mean to tell me, that we have a system that’s so unregulated, as to allow people to make contracts like this. If I made a contract with, I don’t know, a person to repair my kitchen, and said, if I didn’t want my kitchen repaired by January 1st, and in the fine print, they said, I got two years to repair your kitchen, I gave them all the money before January 1st to repair my kitchen, and they didn’t do it, I have the grounds to sue them.”

Know About People You Meet Online Before Meeting in Real Life

How Was Your Date? Internet dating is now the most popular way for people to meet. Makes sense in a busy world where people don’t have the time to join an endless amount of activities in the hopes of meeting someone. But the one thing these daters need to do is take just a few moments to check out who they are about to have an intimate meeting with! Most online dating services, including the most popular ones, do absolutely no background checks on members of any kind other than making sure of their credit card authorization! Anyone can join, including, convicted murderers, married people, deadbeat parents, burglars, sex offenders, embezzlers, thieves, repetitive drunk drivers, liars, and scam artists, to name a few. The Internet is a playground for many of these perpetrators. When people are lonely, they make mistakes. Janelle Armstrong was surprised when her dinner date was interrupted by a woman crying, ‘How could you,’ with two children calling him ‘daddy!’ After spending six weeks chatting and emailing with a new beau, Lucille Hudson, a young lawyer, was certain she had met the man of her dreams. He was intelligent, cordial, challenging, romantic, and everything she had hoped for. There were no ‘signs.’ He finally agreed to meet her at a local restaurant. When Lucille arrived she was greeted by a group of howling adolescent males. Seems the love of her life was a fifteen year-old boy out for kicks. Her humiliation and embarrassment have lingered and she has not dated for a year since the incident. While these cases are not life threatening, many are not so benign. Kacie Rene Woody, of Conway, Arkansas, met the San Diego, California, man who killed her, on the Internet. Her body, along with the body of David Fuller, was found in a van at a storage garage in Arkansas, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Police suspect that the girl had been sexually assaulted. Take just a few moments and check out your potential Mr. Right or Ms. Right before you meet. Otherwise, you could end up with Mr. or Ms. Very Wrong!

What Kind of Employees Need Background Checks?

Which employees are background checks needed for:
A. Employees who handle cash
B. Custodians
C. Librarians
D. Wal Mart Greeters

The answer: All of the above.

Why? Employers are liable for their employees’ actions?

Time and time again employers have been held responsible for the negligent or criminal acts of their employees. Hiring is tough these days. Hire the wrong person and you will not just have to fire them, but you could possibly face lawsuits from other employees, clients, prospects, vendors, the public, customers, and other companies. Thomas and Mary Hines hired a contractor Metropolitan Painting Associates to paint and remodel their home. Metropolitan sent an employee Allen C. to paint the Hineses’ home. Metropolitan was aware that Cain had a chemical dependency problem and had been convicted for three felonies. The Hineses discovered that Cain stole some checks from their home. Thus, the employer terminated Cain. However, after his termination, Cain returned with some friend to burglarize the Hineses’ home. The Hineses were at home during the burglary, and Cain and his friends assaulted and robbed them.

The Hineses sued the employer for negligent hiring. The trial court awarded damages in favor of the Hineses and against the employer. Employers could be found liable for negligence for employee criminal activity and employee negligence, for not conducting background checks. Just one lawsuit can damage a company financially, morally, and publicly.

Negligent hiring claims are a fast-growing area of commercial litigation. Employers have been found liable for many employee acts committed in the scope of employment. This is true of violent crimes, intoxication, assault, manslaughter, sexual harassment. embezzling client funds, and many more. How can employers protect themselves? It starts in the hiring process. Making reasonable efforts to conduct background checks and hiring within the boundaries of the law can help protect employers and their clients. Don’t let your business be threatened by expensive lawsuits! Conduct applicant and employee background checks now! And don’t make the mistake of limiting background checks to criminal records alone!

Find Out Who You Are About to do Business With… Before it’s too Late!

Why only check the Better Business Bureau, when you can check out the person? The Better Business Bureau only compiles information two ways:

• from the business owners themselves.

• if someone actually complains.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know if the person you are about to hire to work in your home has a criminal record, say, past convictions for burglary or violent acts? Employers use criminal record checks everyday, why shouldn’t you? Protect your family! A man that her father had hired to work around the home took Elizabeth Smart in her sleep from her own bed! Check out criminal records on your lawn person, your plumber, and your nanny. How about the roofer that’s asking you for a deposit? The remodeling salesperson that wants to sell you new siding? Find out about criminal records on anyone that you know! You can check criminal records, the sex offender’s list, nanny screen lookups, DUIs and more. Yes we all want to think the best of people. But people have a habit of committing the same acts of their past again and again. Our entire credit rating system is based on past behavior predicting future behavior. Our justice system heavily relies on past behavior and convictions when doling out punishments for crime. Checking criminal records could save you. It’s a well-known fact that the majority of crimes against persons are committed by people known in some capacity to their victims. Unfortunately, many of these innocent people did not know their assailants and attackers well enough. Why should you risk what is most dear to you by leaving your family’s safety up to chance? Start protecting yourself, your children, your entire family, and your belongings. Take an easy and inexpensive step to prevent the harm that could come to you. Visit criminalregistry.org right now… before it’s too late!

Why Background Check a Lawyer?

Need A Lawyer? So lawyers aren’t popular but at least they uphold the law right? Think again! How would you like one of these attorneys handling your estate?

• A Denver attorney pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges in two stock-fraud and money-laundering schemes that cost investors more than $15 million according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

• Lawyer A. Bellettieri ripped off more than 20 million dollars from a bank and used the money to pay for vacation property, a family wedding and generous employee salaries, authorities said. He pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to counts of bank fraud and mail fraud.

• A jury convicted attorney Howton for an incident with a fast-food worker. Howton was charged with two counts each of reckless endangerment and simple assault, and four counts of disorderly conduct in connection with the standoff outside the Long John Silver’s. • Civil rights lawyer L. Stewart was convicted for enabling Omar Abdel-Rahman to communicate with followers despite demands that he be isolated from the world. Her sentencing hearing was set for Monday.

• A lawyer jailed for stealing or misappropriating more than $3.5 million from clients has been granted parole. Ronald Williams, of Devonport, was jailed for 6 1/2 years after pleading guilty to stealing in 2003. His crimes were described as ”appalling breaches of trust” against members of his family and deceased estates.

• A prosecutor asked for federal prison time for a lawyer who bilked his elderly clients of millions of dollars. He abused their trust by misappropriating $1.7 million of his elderly clients’ money. Yes lawyers are people. People with more access to other people’s money than the average person. You need to know if the lawyer you just hired as the trustee of your estate has a theft conviction. Don’t hire a wolf to guard the hen house. Don’t put your financial future in jeopardy by handing all your money over to a thief for safe keeping! Find out now. Run a background check for criminal convictions.

The Hand That Rocks the Cradle

Denise and William of New York hired a 20-year-old Swiss au pair to care for Kristie, then a 2-month-old baby. Then, Kristie died in a house fire. The au pair faces charges of murder and arson for allegedly dousing the bedrooms with paint thinner and setting the fatal blaze. Working parents seeking Nannies are worried. Todd and Lisa of Wisconsin have had seven different nannies in the past three years. Two were fine, two left without notice, one ran up a huge phone bill, and another had a boyfriend who called collect at all hours, and another got a DUI with their daughter in the car. Sally and Sheldon even installed Nanny-cams so they could protect their new son. The Nanny simply left with their boy and wasn’t found for three days, five states away. Little Brianna did not seem right, and her parents were baffled. Every time they mentioned the Nanny’s name, she ran and hid. When the Nanny would arrive in the morning, Brianna screamed and clung to her parents. They were both told it was probably just separation anxiety. Brianna’s father became suspicious. He set up a video camera and later watched in terror. The Nanny repeatedly hit her in the head throughout the day. Many Nannies have no formal training. Parents are looking for emotional results from a business relationship. Remember, no matter what an agency tells you, you need to check for your self. Hiring a Nanny from a reputable firm is no guarantee. Over 75,000 nannies and au pairs are hired through over 800 US agencies every year. Most all are unregulated. Some companies claim to actually check references, but few do. What can you do? Get standard Employment Application forms at your local office supply store. Make sure you have every Nanny applicant complete your employment application form. Once you’ve completed your pre-employment screening, a background check will search the candidate’s criminal history and verify the social security number. Investigate your prospective Nanny. Run a nanny background check for criminal convictions, DUI’s, employee checks, and vital statistics. Don’t risk your child.

Do You Know Who’s Watching You!

Unfortunately, sex offenders are lurking among us. They are in every state, every city, and most every town, and neighborhood in the country. Experts agree there is no question that there are very dangerous sexual predators in the United States and elsewhere, who will never respond to treatment, and need desperately to be incarcerated and contained. The problem is, you have no way to know by looking, because these predators appear just like anyone else. They prey on innocent people and often cloak themselves with an average image. They could be your neighbor, kid’s scoutmaster, or even a church member. The recent case of Clemson University student, Tiffany Souers of South Carolina is sadly just one of many cases. Her killer had a history of violence and sex crimes in Florida. Do you know all your neighbors? How well? You could live near Jerry Hamel, a sexual predator who molested a 5-year-old boy. “And then I done it again, and again.” he recalled. The majority of sex offenders are men that target women and children. People who can’t defend themselves. Kara was at home asleep when at one o’clock in the morning she awoke to see the dark figure of a man standing in the doorway of her bedroom. She screamed and woke her infant son who had been asleep in his crib across the bedroom and he began to cry. This annoyed the intruder who ran to the crib and threw the baby against the wall knocking him unconscious. This pathetic criminal then raped her repeatedly and cut her arms with a knife. He warned her that if she reported him he would come back and kill the both of them. Kara’s son survived with some permanent hearing loss. Kara did report her attacker. He was a convicted sex offender living in her apartment complex who later admitted he had watched her every day for months, planning his attack. His conviction, however, took almost two years during which during he lived as a free man stalking Kara night and day and threatening her. He later murdered another woman and is serving a life sentence. You need to protect yourself and your children. It’s estimated that 72% of released convicted sex offenders repeat their crimes again. Almost eighty per cent say they will offend again given the opportunity. Do they live in your neighborhood? Find out right now!
